What is the best starter kit?
Based on performance, ease of use, low cost, and compatibility, we recommend the SV EVOD Kit. Aside from e-liquid, this kit comes with everything you need to start vaping. We have many different kits available, this is just one we like to recommend for new users based on the success we see with it.
The EVOD batteries come in different sizes 1100mah, and 650mah. Mah is milliamp hours, a unit of measure for electric power over time. 1100mah are longer, and 650mah are smaller. If you don't like the larger size devices, and prefer something smaller, the 650mah are the way to go. There are also VV batteries (Variable Voltage), this means they have a dial on the bottom to turn up or down the power. Higher voltage will be warmer, but be careful it can also burn coils.. Lower voltage will be cooler. It's another way (one of many) to fine tune the performance of your e-cigarette for more satisfaction.
All our e-cigarette batteries are manual (use a button to fire the device). When the button is pressed a blue LED light will glow so you know when it's activated. They also feature a 5 click on/off (pocket-safe) function. Click 5 times, and it will flash quickly to signal it's off. Repeat to turn the battery back on. Practice turning it on and off a few times to get the hang of this function. Most batteries are shipped off, or may not even be charged at all, so you'll need to charge and turn them on first.
Each kit includes 2 EVOD Clearomizers (the top that holds e-liquid & vaporizes it), and 5 spare coils that go inside the clearomizer. A clearomizer typically works for about a week, it can be refilled many many times, then you'll need to replace the coil inside when it burns or stops working normally. Replacement coils are about $1.50.

The fully assembled e-cigarette:
USB Fast Charger - To recharge the batteries screw the threaded connection on the battery into the gold connection on the charger. Plug the USB into any usb power source, and the light will turn red to signal it's charging, green when fully charged.
Wall Adapter - One is included with each kit to use the USB charger on any wall outlet.
What is pg/vg?
Propylene glycol (pg), and Vegetable Glycerin (vg) are the base ingredients of any e-liquid. PG/VG is the ratio of propylene glycol to vegetable glycerin in the mixture. PG is always first, VG is always second: 70/30 = 70% PG / 30 % VG
100% PG e-liquid will produce very little vapor. This is the most common mistake we see. New vapers choose 100% PG (we did it too) because it's the first choice on the list. Then it's so disappointing when there's no vapor like you've seen in all those videos! It somehow makes it feel like the device isn't working, but it is. PG will produce more throat hit, carry flavor through better, and it's thinner. It doesn't make the vapor though. VG is really thick like honey, makes the vapor, and can decrease the throat hit. Certain devices require a certain thickness of juice to operate, so to be safe we always say start with a 70/30 mix. Save the 100% PG e-liquids for vaping in the movie theater. It works great!
Many of you have experience with stick style e-cigarettes that look like a real cigarette. The nicotine content is sometimes indicated as a percentage (1.6%) instead of in milligrams per milliliter (16mg/ml). To find your strength, move the decimal to the right one place, and that's the mg/ml you've previously been using. 0.6% = 6mg/ml, 1.2% = 12mg/ml, 2.4% = 24mg/ml. Below is an estimate of strength based on cigarette usage. This is only an estimate, and is intended to help you choose a strength to start.
